Ollie's Angels Animal Rescue

My husband and I adopted Logan, AKA Logi, from Ollie's Angels Animal Rescue on November 10, 2019, and I cannot say enough about this organization! The network of loving caring people on Melissa’s team and the foster parents who give so much to help save these beautiful lives are angels in their own right. Our neighbors, Lisa and Steve Spector are foster parents and is how we came to know Ollie’s Angels. We learned just how complex the logistics are, from working with other organizations down south, to lining up foster families to transporting these wonderful souls up to Long Island. Spay/Neuter/Microchip, personality evaluations, medical care, and pairing with the right family. It takes a special network of people to make this all come together.

Logi is a kissy-bug, a snuggler and a huge lush for love! He fell asleep in my lap on the way home from the foster family (Lily and Peter), I almost melted! He learned sit in about 5 minutes and mastered stay, come and leave-it in another 48 hours! He is housebroken, wonderful on leash, great in the car, loves kids and other dogs. Our kitty Splinter said hello from a distance - we were surprised when she came out of her hiding spot the first day. They are working out their relationship. It's all good.

We are over the moon in love with Logi! He's a perfect fit for my husband and I in every possible way. He had lots of fun with the extended family a week after we got him and he was super gentle with the grandkids.
